Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website of the National Coordination Centre for Cyber Security in Industry, Technology and Research (NCC-DE) published at nkcs.bund.de.

As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The accessibility requirements are set out in Sections 3 (1) to (4) and 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of Section 12d BGG.

The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out on 16 February 2021.

Based on the review, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following incompatibilities.

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • Older PDF downloads may not be accessible. PDF files uploaded at a later date will be created in an accessible version or replaced by such a version as soon as possible.
  • PDF downloads from third parties may not be barrier-free. External parties are required to make these accessible.
  • Partly subtitles for videos. We endeavour to add subtitles to newly posted videos as soon as possible after publication.
  • Partly audios and podcasts. We endeavour to provide text alternatives as quickly as possible for newly posted audios and podcasts.
  • The captcha query is not barrier-free.

Optional accessible content

The following measures are planned to achieve accessibility:

We are endeavouring to continuously develop the amount of accessible content and the accessibility of the website. A simplified audit by an external body was carried out in 2021. A further review is planned in the near future.
