NCC Roundtable @FIC2025: Strengthening Europe's Cybersecurity Ecosystem
The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs) will participate at a roundtable discussion at FIC 2025 in Lille, France. The German NCC will also attending the discussion, which is organised by the National Coordination Centre Luxembourg. Overall, the round table will highlight the efforts made by the EU in advancing Europe's cybersecurity capabilities and reinforcing its competitiveness on the global stage.
In this context the ECCC and the Network of NCCs are tasked with implementing a new European framework to foster innovation in cybersecurity by implementing appropriate funding opportunities. Therefore, the discussion rounds will feature the ECCC directorate, Luca Tagliaretti, and the representatives of eight corresponding NCCs to share their insights, experiences building a European Cybersecurity Competence Community.
The roundtable will showcase how National Coordination Centres across member states work hand-in-hand with the ECCC to strengthen research and development projects, e.g. with providing funding, and also financial support to third parties (FSTP), especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
